National Family Health History Day

Our Family History is the collection of our shared stories. Our stories inform, illustrate, and document our connections to one another. Our family's stories help us understand ourselves.

Important information to include in your Family's History are stories that collect and document the health of your family members. Your Family Health History is important to your health. Genes play an important role in your risk of developing health conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, strokes, and cancer. Documenting your Family's Health History allows you to be proactive in managing your health.

Thanksgiving, November 23, 2023 is National Family Health History Day.
